Even though the Sunday afternoon’s game was cut short by two ends when heavy rain started to fall organisers voted this year’s Carnival a huge success with teams attending from the New England, South Tamworth, Nambucca Heads, Park Beach, Coffs Ex Services and Woolgoolga. Entries had to be limited this year because the Club is still operating with only one green but is looking forward to the installation of its second grass green on the site of its old clubhouse. Completion is expected by the end of the year but visitors were full of admiration for the magnificent new clubhouse.
