New tanker for Valery RFS

Members of the Valery Rural Fire Service with the new tanker (centre).NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) Region North Manager, Chief Superintendent Brett Condie has praised the ongoing commitment of Mid North Coast volunteer firefighters at an official ceremony held in their honour.

Chief Superintendent Condie presented a total of 36 members with a combination of Long Service Awards and National Medals as well as officially handing over the keys to three new bush fire trucks, including one to the Vallery Brigade.

“The NSW RFS is committed to providing volunteer firefighters with the equipment they need to carry out their important work,” Mr Condie said.

“These new vehicles are replacing older style models and will allow firefighters to continue to provide a high level of emergency services to their local communities,” he concluded.
