“We are again looking forward to a big local turn-out,” said Festival President, Mauri Thomas. “It’s great that locals regard it as ‘Our’ Festival and extend a warm welcome to visitors and players. The Festival is recovering from last year’s loss and advance sales to date are encouraging. A good roll-up on the weekend will ensure that the Jazz Festival is around for years to come.”
Mauri went on to thank the local businesses who have sponsored the Festival in various ways. The message is simple: “Please support our supporters!”
