Coach – Tim Wood

U6’s Grenfell Bowling Club Gold – Hugo Wood, Annabella Taylor, Michelle Walker, Spencer Mehrton, Chase McFarlane, Emerson Squires, Georgia Squires.

The day started out very cold. The U6’s Grenfell Bowling Club Gold team’s home game on Saturday was played against The Hospital Shop, Young.

Unfortunately the Hospital Shop was down a couple of players so Georgia helped out their team – three cheers for Georgia. All the players had a top game with U6’s Grenfell Bowling Club Gold team coming away with a solid performance.

Georgia Squires playing well on the other team, Annabella Taylor and Hugo Wood scoring goals and Hugo saving a lot of goals too while Spencer Mehrton, Emerson Squires and Michelle Walker did a great job of defending and attacking. The team has moved up to the next level which is great. Well done to our little team this week – we are very proud of you.

MILNE’S SPREADING UNDER 10’S

Young put the pressure on early with 2 quick goals. Sarah and Zoran saved another early goal with wonderful kicks. Zac was in goals and he made some great saves under pressure. Kali played well up the front with Jack and Aydan where they passed the ball around. Emily and Lucy ran the ball up the line. Maya and Isabel put a lot of pressure on Young as the game continued.

Casey and Caitlin protected the goals on more than one occasion.

In the second half Kali and Aydan ran the ball towards the goal, passing to each other, almost resulting in a gaol. Young were very classy on the day. Aydan did score in the second half.

All of Grenfell played extremely well under the circumstances and never gave up.
